Armenian Aviation Day
June 21 · Level 8 · #539 of 2238
Armenian Aviation Day recognises the people who keep the country’s aviation working. Pilots share the occasion with engineers, air traffic controllers, technicians and ground crews: every departure depends on a much larger team than passengers usually see.
How it is celebrated: aviation organisations hold ceremonies and present staff awards. Colleagues honour industry veterans and look back at milestones in Armenian aviation.
Armenia’s mountainous terrain is part of everyday flight planning, shaping route choices, weather assessments and approaches to airports.
