Teachers and Mentors Day in Uzbekistan
October 1 · Level 2 · #1879 of 2238
Uzbekistan’s Teachers and Mentors Day thanks the people who share knowledge, offer guidance and help learners find their direction. It recognises the encouragement behind an education, as well as the lessons themselves.
How it is celebrated: educational institutions arrange concerts, greetings and flower presentations. Teachers receive awards and expressions of appreciation, while former pupils reconnect with educators who made a difference in their lives.
The holiday’s name explicitly includes mentors alongside teachers. Its scope embraces the passing on of experience from one person to another, extending appreciation beyond classroom teaching.
