Agricultural Workers' Day in Ukraine
November 15 · Level 4 · #1493 of 2238

Ukraine's Agricultural Workers' Day recognises the people who grow crops, care for livestock and keep farms running. It highlights the many skills behind everyday food, from an agronomist's field observations to a machinery operator's work during harvest.
How it is celebrated: farms and local communities congratulate employees and industry veterans, present awards and look back over the season. Concerts and displays of agricultural produce may accompany the formal celebrations.
The holiday has no fixed calendar date. It falls on the third Sunday in November, after the main fieldwork season.
