World Voice Day
April 16 · Level 6 · #1005 of 2238

World Voice Day celebrates the voice as a tool for conversation, music and expression. It also draws attention to vocal health, whether your daily audience is a classroom, a concert hall or a few people around the kitchen table.
How it is celebrated: voice specialists offer educational talks, consultations and practical workshops. Concerts and open sessions bring medical professionals, singing teachers and curious members of the public together to explore how voices work.
The international movement grew from a Brazilian initiative launched in 1999. A local voice-health campaign became an occasion shared by medicine, science and the performing arts.
