Russian Design Engineers' Day
November 16 · Level 2 · #2008 of 2238
Russian Design Engineers' Day recognises the people who turn ideas for buildings and infrastructure into plans that can actually be built. Their calculations and drawings help make everyday spaces safe, practical and comfortable.
How it is celebrated: design firms congratulate colleagues, recognise successful projects and hold professional gatherings where teams exchange experience.
A single building can involve several separate design teams. Structural supports, ventilation ducts, water pipes and electrical systems all need to fit together, making coordination as essential as any individual calculation.
