Ukraine Environment Day
April 18 · Level 5 · #1250 of 2238
Ukraine Environment Day focuses on caring for the country's natural surroundings, from neighbourhood green spaces to rivers and forests. It encourages practical local action and helps communities connect environmental questions with the places they use every day.
How it is celebrated: volunteers, schools and community groups organize clean-ups, plant trees and hold environmental learning activities. Events depend on local circumstances and safety conditions.
The observance follows a weekday rule rather than a fixed date: it falls on the third Saturday in April. Its calendar date therefore shifts from year to year.
