Machine Builders' Day in Ukraine
September 27 · Level 6 · #991 of 2238
Ukraine’s Machine Builders’ Day honours the people who design and manufacture machines, instruments and industrial equipment. It recognises a shared effort, linking the first engineering calculations with production, assembly and testing of the finished product.
How it is celebrated: companies congratulate employees and industry veterans, present awards and highlight team achievements. Depending on what a workplace can arrange, recognition may take the form of a formal gathering or a smaller celebration among colleagues.
The holiday has a nationwide calendar rule: the fourth Sunday in September. A Ukrainian presidential decree established it in 1993.
