Webmaster Day
April 4 · Level 3 · #1743 of 2238

An unofficial professional day for people who build websites, keep them running and fix whatever broke overnight. It is a reason to say thank you to the people who make pages actually open.
How it is celebrated: colleagues thank one another, join online meetups and workshops, swap handy tools and trade stories about the strangest bugs they have ever met.
The first website in the world was created by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN, and its subject was the World Wide Web project itself.
