World Men's Day

World Men's Day is an informal occasion to appreciate men and the part they play in the lives of others. It offers a moment to thank fathers, friends and colleagues, while remembering that men need care and support too.
How it is celebrated: people send greetings, share a meal or spend time with family. There is no set programme; a walk together or a thoughtful conversation can be enough.
Despite their similar names, World Men's Day and International Men's Day are separate occasions. The latter falls on November 19.
