Trade Workers' Day in Russia
July 25 · Level 4 · #1495 of 2238
Russia's Trade Workers' Day recognises sales assistants, cashiers, merchandise specialists and others who help goods reach customers. It gives everyday retail and wholesale work a moment in the spotlight, including the effort behind a well-stocked shelf.
How it is celebrated: workplaces congratulate their teams, present awards and organise professional competitions or staff gatherings. Many employees mark the occasion while on shift, with customers still coming through the doors.
The holiday moves around the calendar: it falls on the fourth Saturday of July. That makes 25 July the celebration date only in certain years.
