Radio-Technical Troops Day of the Russian Aerospace Forces
December 15 · Level 9 · #408 of 2238
Radio-Technical Troops Day honours the radar specialists of the Russian Aerospace Forces. They are the first to see what is happening in the sky and pass that picture on to the people who make decisions.
How it is celebrated: units hold formal parades, reward their best people, invite veterans to meet the newcomers and tell young soldiers the story of the troops.
Radars never take a day off: crews watch the screens around the clock, New Year's Eve included, so for them every holiday is also a shift at the post.
