Fashion Revolution Day

A day that remembers the Rana Plaza factory disaster and asks who makes our clothes, and under what conditions. It pushes for a fashion industry that is fairer to people and kinder to the planet.

How it is celebrated: people wear a garment inside out so the label shows, post a photo and ask brands who made it. There are also clothes swaps, exhibitions and talks about buying less and choosing better.

The Rana Plaza building in Dhaka, Bangladesh, collapsed on 24 April 2013, killing more than a thousand garment workers.
