Cost Estimators' Day in Russia
April 26 · Level 1 · #2221 of 2238
Russia's Cost Estimators' Day celebrates the specialists who work out what construction projects will cost. They turn drawings and technical choices into budgets that account for materials, labour and equipment, helping teams understand the resources a project needs.
How it is celebrated: colleagues exchange congratulations, while professional groups hold meetings and seminars. Workplace celebrations recognise experienced estimators and provide a chance to discuss challenging calculations.
Knowing the price of the bricks does not tell you the cost of a wall. An estimate also needs to account for labour, mortar, equipment and other expenses hidden behind the finished structure.
