Architecture Day of Ukraine

Architecture Day of Ukraine recognises the people who design buildings, shape public spaces and care for architectural heritage. It is also a chance to notice how design affects ordinary life, from the daylight in a room to the comfort of a town square.

How it is celebrated: architects share projects through exhibitions and professional gatherings, exchange ideas and congratulate colleagues. Talks and guided walks introduce wider audiences to buildings and their creators.

Some of Ukraine’s wooden churches in the Carpathians belong to a shared UNESCO World Heritage Site that also includes churches in Poland.
