Fiesta del Fuego in Cuba

The Fiesta del Fuego is a vivid Caribbean festival held in Santiago de Cuba in early July. It celebrates the culture of the Caribbean, with its music, dance and rituals.
How it is celebrated: the streets fill with carnival parades, bands and dancers, there are concerts and exhibitions, and each year one country of the region takes the spotlight. Evenings go by to drums and live music.
The festival ends with the burning of a devil effigy, a tradition called Quema del Diablo, which the people of Santiago greet with loud cheers.
