A national holiday marking the adoption of Uzbekistan's basic law. It is a day to think about citizens' rights and the principles on which the state is built.

How it is celebrated: there are festive meetings and concerts, schools and universities hold lessons and talks about law, and state awards go to people who have contributed to the country's development.

The Constitution was adopted on 8 December 1992, and a new version of it was approved by referendum in 2023.
