Be a Kid Again Day

A cheerful day for grown-ups to remember what it felt like to play with no thought for to-do lists. For one day you are allowed to be curious, silly and a little noisy.

How it is celebrated: people jump in puddles, ride swings, build blanket forts, eat ice cream and play hide-and-seek or board games. Friends and colleagues invite each other to childhood pastimes and nobody minds looking goofy.

The date falls in the middle of the northern summer, when children are on school break, so borrowing ideas from them is easy.
