World Sexual Health Day
September 4 · Level 3 · #1572 of 2238

This day treats sexual health as a normal part of overall wellbeing rather than a taboo subject. It exists to share reliable information, cut down on shame and remind everyone that safe, respectful relationships are a right.
How it is celebrated: doctors, educators and community groups run talks, online sessions and information campaigns, while many people simply start an honest conversation with friends or colleagues about self-care and consent.
The day is coordinated by the World Association for Sexual Health, which picks a fresh theme each year and offers campaign materials in many languages.
