World Juggling Day
June 20 · Level 7 · #786 of 2238

This is a day for anyone who enjoys tossing and catching balls, clubs, rings or whatever is within reach. It brings together circus performers, street artists and total beginners who are still working on keeping three balls in the air.
How it is celebrated: juggling clubs hold open meetups, workshops and shows in parks and squares, and newcomers are happily handed props to try. Plenty of people simply gather with friends and practise the classic three-ball cascade.
Juggling is very old. Paintings in the tombs at Beni Hasan in Egypt, about four thousand years old, show people tossing balls.
