Teachers' Day in China
September 10 · Level 7 · #881 of 2238
Teachers' Day in China honours educators and the difference they make in their students' lives. It is a chance to thank the people who teach practical skills, encourage curiosity and help young people find their direction.
How it is celebrated: students give cards and flowers or prepare performances. Schools and universities host ceremonies, while outstanding teachers receive awards and honorary recognition.
Although respect for teachers has deep roots in Chinese culture, the modern observance was established only in 1985.
