International Internet-Free Day

International Internet-Free Day is an informal invitation to step away from the web and choose what deserves your attention. A break from feeds and messages can leave space for conversation, a quiet hobby or simply an afternoon without checking for updates.

How it is celebrated: participants pause online chats, meet friends, go walking, read printed books or play board games. Some aim for a full day offline; others set aside a few manageable hours.

Being internet-free does not necessarily mean switching off every device. Cameras, downloaded music and many e-books work offline: the distinction is the connection, rather than the screen itself.
