National Comic Book Day
September 25 · Level 8 · #567 of 2238
National Comic Book Day is an informal US celebration of stories told through pictures and words. It brings readers, artists and writers into the spotlight, offering a reason to revisit a treasured issue or discover someone new.
How it is celebrated: fans swap recommendations, add to their collections and discuss favorite characters. Comic shops and reading communities may mark the occasion with themed gatherings or special offers.
Speech balloons are optional: some comics tell complete stories without a single word. The sequence of images alone carries the action, emotion and plot.
