Justice Workers' Day in Azerbaijan
November 22 · Level 4 · #1548 of 2238
This is the professional day of Azerbaijan's judges, Ministry of Justice staff, notaries and other legal professionals who keep the justice system running. It honours people whose work is fairness and order.
How it is celebrated: there are formal ceremonies and awards, plus conferences and meetings where people discuss court reforms and new online services. Colleagues receive congratulations, and veterans of the system get a warm mention.
The word "justice" comes from Latin: iustitia meant "fairness" or "righteousness".
