Bank Worker's Day in Armenia
November 22 · Level 4 · #1537 of 2238

This is the professional day of everyone who works in Armenian banks and keeps the country's money moving, from tellers and loan officers to analysts and Central Bank staff.
How it is celebrated: colleagues exchange congratulations, managers hand out awards and certificates, and banks and professional associations hold meetings and conferences about new financial services.
Armenia's national currency, the dram, was introduced on 22 November 1993. In Armenian the word means "money", and it goes back to the same ancient Greek word as the drachma.
