Britain's Horned God Day
October 18 · Level 5 · #1187 of 2238
This informal calendar entry refers to the Horned God of modern Pagan traditions, a figure associated with wild nature, fertility and life's changing cycles. It should not be treated as an established ancient festival observed throughout Britain.
How it is celebrated: there is no shared ritual for this particular date. Devotion to the Horned God can involve individual or group ceremonies, reflection on seasonal changes and time outdoors.
The horns do not identify this figure as the Devil. In Wicca, the Horned God is a distinct deity associated with animals and the natural world.
