Diplomatic Service Day of Kazakhstan
July 2 · Level 5 · #1254 of 2238
Diplomatic Service Day of Kazakhstan honours the people who represent the country abroad and maintain relationships with other states. Their work spans negotiations, international cooperation and assistance to citizens far from home.
How it is celebrated: the diplomatic service holds formal gatherings, presents awards and congratulates current and former employees. The occasion recognises work that often takes place outside the spotlight of official visits.
The date recalls the approval of regulations governing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 2 July 1992, an early milestone in building the independent country’s diplomatic service.
