Belarusian Air Force Day
August 16 · Level 10 · #214 of 2238
Belarusian Air Force Day honours military aviators and the people who keep their aircraft ready to fly. Pilots share the occasion with engineers, maintenance crews and veterans, recognising a service built on precision and teamwork.
How it is celebrated: aviation units hold ceremonial assemblies, present awards and welcome veterans. Public celebrations can also include displays of aircraft and aviation equipment.
The holiday has a moving date: it falls on the third Sunday in August. The calendar number changes each year, but the Sunday tradition stays.
