Wiggle Your Toes Day
August 6 · Level 1 · #2050 of 2238

A playful day that invites you to remember your feet and give your toes a little workout. We usually ignore them until one stubs itself on the furniture.
How it is celebrated: people kick off their shoes and socks, wiggle their toes under the desk, stroll barefoot on grass or sand, and treat their feet to a massage. Friends can compete to see who is better at picking up a pencil with their toes.
Each human foot has 26 bones. Both feet together hold 52, which is roughly a quarter of all the bones in an adult skeleton.
