National Guard Day of Kazakhstan
January 10 · Level 9 · #256 of 2238
National Guard Day in Kazakhstan is for the servicemen and servicewomen who keep public order and protect key state facilities. It is a day to say thank you for their service.
How it is celebrated: there are solemn ceremonies, awards for those who stood out, and demonstration performances by guard units.
The Guard's roots go back to Kazakhstan's internal troops, which took shape after the Soviet Union broke up.
