MFC Worker Day in Russia

This is the professional day of staff at Russia's multifunctional centres, where people can handle paperwork and government services in one place instead of touring a dozen offices.
How it is celebrated: colleagues exchange congratulations and share experience, and the best employees receive certificates and thank-you letters. Many centres also organise a small celebration for the team.
The date is linked to the federal law on providing state and municipal services, signed on 27 July 2010. It gave a legal footing to the one-window principle on which these centres work. Many Russians know them by their brand name, "My Documents".
