International Day of Women Judges
March 10 · Level 5 · #1136 of 2238

This day recognises that fair justice needs women on the bench, not just in the audience. It celebrates women judges and calls for equal access to every level of the judiciary.
How it is celebrated: courts, bar associations and legal groups hold panels and open talks where judges share their careers and mentor young women lawyers. Many people also post stories about the first women judges in their own countries.
The UN General Assembly proclaimed the day in 2021, and it was first observed on 10 March 2022.
