Father's Day in Belarus recognises dads and the part they play in their children's lives. It offers families a moment to appreciate everyday care, encouragement and time spent together, from helping with a difficult task to sharing a favourite activity.
How it is celebrated: children make cards and prepare greetings, while families enjoy time together. Schools, libraries and cultural venues organise themed gatherings, displays of children's artwork and family competitions.
Belarus established its Father's Day in 2022. The chosen date falls exactly one week after the country's Mother's Day, which is celebrated on 14 October.
