Ukraine Youth Day
August 12 · Level 9 · #418 of 2238
Ukraine Youth Day recognises young people, their initiatives and their contribution to the country. It creates space to discuss education, employment, volunteering and the chance to influence decisions that shape the future.
How it is celebrated: youth organisations arrange discussions, learning activities and charity events. Formats depend on local conditions, with online gatherings helping participants in different cities exchange ideas and collaborate.
The holiday previously fell on the last Sunday in June. A 2021 presidential decree moved it to 12 August from 2022 onward, aligning it with International Youth Day.
