Metallurgist’s Day
July 19 · Level 8 · #452 of 2238
Metallurgist’s Day honours the people who produce and process metals, from furnace crews to engineers. Their work supplies the materials behind buildings, vehicles and countless ordinary objects, making this a celebration with a surprisingly broad reach.
How it is celebrated: companies recognise employees and honour retired workers. Industrial towns also hold concerts and family events, especially where a metalworks has shaped local life for generations.
Metallurgy reaches well beyond steel: aluminium, copper and titanium belong to it too. One profession’s celebration spans many very different production processes.
