Architect's Day in Russia
July 6 · Level 1 · #2201 of 2238
A professional day for people who dream up buildings, courtyards and whole city districts. It reminds us that architecture shapes how we live and how we walk through our towns.
How it is celebrated: professional unions and universities organize project exhibitions, lectures and city walks, and the best works receive awards.
The word architect comes from Greek and literally means chief builder.
