World Hearing Day

World Hearing Day is a World Health Organization campaign about hearing care and access to support. It highlights both prevention and the services people need to communicate and take part in everyday life when their hearing changes.
How it is celebrated: participating clinics and organizations offer hearing checks, public talks and information about available support. Campaign materials also address safe listening and common misconceptions about hearing loss.
The campaign previously went by International Ear Care Day. It has used the name World Hearing Day since 2016, giving the observance a broader focus than ears alone.
