Puppy Day
March 23 · Level 3 · #1576 of 2238

Puppy Day is a cheerful nod to the smallest, floppiest and most wiggly members of the dog world. It reminds people how much joy puppies bring and how much care they need in return.
How it is celebrated: owners spoil their pups with new toys and long walks, friends swap silly photos online, and animal shelters introduce puppies who are still waiting for a family. Many people also use the day to think about vaccinations and first training lessons.
The day has a known founder: American pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige launched it in 2006.
