RSI Awareness Day
February 28 · Level 2 · #1933 of 2238

This day reminds us that repetitive movements, whether at a keyboard or on a production line, can quietly injure muscles, tendons and nerves. People mark it so that repetitive strain injury gets talked about before the hands start to hurt.
How it is celebrated: trade unions and health groups share ergonomics tips, run talks and urge people to take short breaks. Office workers often use the day to check their chair height, monitor position and wrist angle.
One of the best-known forms of the condition is carpal tunnel syndrome, where a nerve gets squeezed in a narrow passage in the wrist.
