International Day of Acceptance
January 20 · Level 1 · #2090 of 2238

The International Day of Acceptance reminds us that everyone has the right to be themselves. It encourages respect for differences and helps people accept others, and themselves, as they are.
How it is celebrated: people trade kind words, hold meetups and conversations about tolerance, post warm messages and make an effort to really listen to someone unlike themselves.
It is an unofficial observance rather than a United Nations day. Anyone can take part, and it needs no special occasion or festive table, only a little attention to the person in front of you.
