International Day for Failure
October 13 · Level 3 · #1703 of 2238

A day for talking about failure openly and without embarrassment. The idea is simple: mistakes are a normal part of any journey, and we learn from them.
How it is celebrated: entrepreneurs, students and teams swap stories of things that went wrong and what they took away from them. Meetups and social media fill up with tales of shelved projects, flopped launches and plain blunders.
The day is strongly associated with Finland, where students from the entrepreneurship society of Aalto University helped popularise it. The point there is to treat failure as experience, not something to hide.
