Doctor-Patient Trust Day

Doctor-Patient Trust Day

This day is about the idea that healing begins with trust: the patient speaks honestly, and the doctor listens carefully and explains everything. Even the most modern medicine works better with it.

How it is celebrated: patients thank their doctors and practise asking questions about their health, while doctors try to give conversations more time. Some clinics hold open days and meetings with patients.

Medical ethics goes back to ancient Greece: the Hippocratic Oath, traditionally linked to the physician Hippocrates, is still a symbol of a doctor's duty to patients.
