Coloring Day

Coloring Day is a reminder that pencils and paints are not just for children. Filling in outlines with colour is a simple way to switch off, calm down and feel like an artist for a while.

How it is celebrated: families and colleagues pull out coloring books, pencils or markers and fill pages together, often during a break. Many pick intricate patterns made for adults and color them while listening to music.

The first box of eight Crayola crayons was sold by Binney & Smith in 1903.
