Bi Visibility Day

Bi Visibility Day, also called Celebrate Bisexuality Day, is a reminder that bisexual people exist, matter and deserve to be seen. It is a day to push back on stereotypes, support one another and make the bi community easier to notice.

How it is celebrated: communities hold meetups and online talks, people share their own stories, fly flags and host supportive social evenings. Plenty of people simply message friends and say why being open matters to them.

The bisexual pride flag was designed by Michael Page in 1998: a pink stripe, a blue stripe and a narrow purple one in the middle, where the two colours blend.
