Librarians’ Day in Armenia
October 7 · Level 1 · #2113 of 2238
Librarians’ Day in Armenia honours the people who care for book collections and connect readers with knowledge. Their work links cultural preservation with everyday help for students, researchers and anyone looking for a good read.
How it is celebrated: libraries organise book displays, reader events and professional meetings. Colleagues receive recognition, and visitors discover collections and library projects.
Armenia’s written culture draws on an alphabet created by Mesrop Mashtots in the early fifth century, giving today’s library work a remarkably long cultural backdrop.
